Sphere is a community engagement platform built on trust, respect, and transparency. These Community Guidelines apply to all creators, members, and users of the Sphere platform. By using Sphere, you agree to follow these guidelines and the Sphere Creator Contract.

1. Be Respectful and Inclusive

· Sphere is a space for everyone. Treat others with respect and kindness. We do not tolerate:

· Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threatening behavior

· Discrimination or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, disability, or age

· Content or conduct that demeans, attacks, or marginalizes individuals or groups

2. Keep It Legal and Safe

· Do not use Sphere to promote, encourage, or engage in illegal or harmful activities, including:

· Illegal goods or services (e.g., unlicensed drugs, counterfeit items, human trafficking)

· Violence, animal harm, or content that glorifies real-world harm

· Self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders

· Explicit, sexually exploitative, or pornographic content

· Any sexual content involving minors (we report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and law enforcement)

Note: Fictional depictions of violence in entertainment (movies, games, literature) are generally permitted, provided they do not promote real-world harm or extremist ideologies.

3. Be Honest and Transparent

Creators must ensure that all promotional content—including product descriptions, claims, testimonials, images, videos, and pricing—is truthful, not misleading, and accurately represents what customers can expect.

· Specifically:

· Do not make false, deceptive, or unsubstantiated claims about your products or services

· Do not use fake testimonials, fabricated results, or actors portraying customers without clear disclosure

· Do not create fake accounts, impersonate others, or engage in fraudulent or deceptive behavior

· Do not use false scarcity tactics (e.g., fake countdown timers, false limited stock claims)

· Do not misrepresent pricing (e.g., fake discounts, invented original prices)

· Disclose any material connections (e.g., paid endorsements, affiliate relationships) in compliance with FTC guidelines

You are responsible for having evidence to back up any factual claims you make. Sphere may request substantiation at any time.

4. Follow Advertising and Marketing Laws

Creators must comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing advertising, marketing, and consumer protection, including:

· Federal Trade Commission (FTC) truth-in-advertising rules

· FTC Endorsement and Testimonial Guidelines

· CAN-SPAM Act (for email marketing)

· Telephone Consumer Protection Act / TCPA (for text messages and telemarketing)

· Industry-specific regulations (e.g., FDA, FCC) if applicable to your products

If you send marketing emails or text messages, you must provide recipients with a way to opt out and honor all opt-out requests.

5. Respect Privacy and Intellectual Property

· Do not:

· Share another person's private information (e.g., home address, contact details, financial data) without their explicit permission (doxxing)

· Use copyrighted materials, brand names, logos, images, or likenesses without permission

· Use the Sphere name or logo without authorization (use must follow Sphere's brand guidelines and may be revoked at any time)

6. Protect the Platform

· Do not:

· Use software to extract, scrape, or bypass platform limits

· Exploit the platform's payment system for fraudulent or abusive purposes

· Send spam or unsolicited messages

· Interfere with the operation or security of the Sphere platform

7. Protect Vulnerable Individuals

Do not promote products or services to children under the age of 13. Do not create content that exploits, endangers, or harms vulnerable individuals, including minors.

Creators are responsible for ensuring their content and conduct comply with these guidelines and all applicable laws.
